NavyXo analyses the data from your phone's accelerometer and gyroscope in real time. Detection runs in two stages: the first notices a sudden event, the second checks it against the physics of a real crash — the impact, a slide, a tip-over, and where the phone is carried — so that a dropped phone or a pothole is not mistaken for a fall. When a fall is recognised, a countdown starts. You set its length yourself in the settings, up to 60 seconds, and it is 30 by default. If you do not cancel within that time, alerts are sent to your emergency contacts automatically.

NavyXo is optimized for minimal battery consumption. Typically, it uses 3-5% of your battery per hour while actively tracking. The app uses efficient background processing and only activates high-precision tracking when needed.

NavyXo keeps working offline, storing your ride and location data on the phone. As soon as the connection returns, the app syncs everything to the cloud. Separately, during every ride NavyXo watches your location continuously. If no location arrives for 5 minutes, a soft incident starts and your emergency contacts are told you may be out of contact. If your location comes back — two consecutive updates — the soft incident resolves by itself and your contacts are told you are safe. If the silence continues, it escalates to a full emergency with the complete notification chain. How long that takes depends on how the silence began: 8 minutes if you had slowed to a stop first, because that is the shape of a crash and those are the minutes that matter most; 25 minutes if you were still moving at speed, because a tunnel or a dead zone is the ordinary explanation and the Gotthard alone takes about twelve; and 15 minutes otherwise.

A free account holds one emergency contact, reached through the NavyXo Guardian app they install on their own phone. It rings, takes over the screen and reads the alert out loud, and it costs nothing to send. Premium holds up to five — one on each channel: the Guardian app, email, SMS, an automated voice call, WhatsApp and Telegram. Each contact is reached on a single channel, so pick the one that person actually reads. Every channel asks the contact for consent first: they get a request, they have to accept it, and they can opt out later at any time.

A free account uses the NavyXo Guardian app — a separate app your contact installs on their own phone. It rings at alarm volume, takes over the screen and reads the alert out loud in their own language, and it arrives in a second or two. Premium adds email, SMS, an automated voice call, WhatsApp and Telegram. The Guardian app goes first in every alert because it is the fastest and costs nothing; the paid channels run behind it and stop the moment somebody confirms they have seen it.

You can cancel your Premium subscription anytime from the app settings or your account page. After cancellation, you'll retain Premium features until the end of your billing period, then revert to the Free plan.

We store your account details, your emergency contacts, your ride history including routes and statistics, and incident records. Everything is encrypted and stored securely. You are in control of all of it in the app, under Settings, then Data management: export everything, only your rides or only your settings, and delete your ride history, all your data, or your whole account. We never sell or share your personal data with anyone.

Yes, NavyXo records your speed as part of ride tracking to provide you with ride statistics and improve fall detection accuracy. This data is stored in your private ride history and is never shared. You can view your speed data in ride summaries and delete individual rides anytime.

When you start a ride, you can generate a unique share code that allows specific people to follow your location in real-time via a web link. Only those with the code can see your location. The share code expires automatically when you end the ride, and you can revoke access anytime.

Yes. Premium riders can export a ride as a GPX file from that ride's screen, ready for Garmin, TomTom and other apps. Import works the other way round: open a GPX, FIT or KML file with NavyXo from your files app or a share sheet, and the route is loaded. There is no import button inside the app — the file itself is the way in.

NavyXo works worldwide. Fall detection and GPS tracking work anywhere you have a phone, with no network needed for the detection itself. Email reaches your contacts in every country. SMS, voice calls and WhatsApp work in most countries, and Telegram works wherever Telegram itself does.
